Position: Home Carer

Salary: £10.90-£14.40 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Main Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
• Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning clients
• Implement behaviour management techniques when necessary
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
• Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or in hospice care

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
• Compassionate and patient demeanour
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Knowledge of caregiving techniques, including medication administration and patient care
• Understanding of dementia care and assisted living principles
