About the Role
Purovets is currently seeking a confident and driven Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a small animal practice on the border of Staffordshire and Cheshire. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in surgery and be confident working in sole charge. The practice has been recently refurbished, and they are working towards achieving Gold Cat-Friendly Clinic status. The caseload includes reptiles and exotic pets, so experience in treating those species would be beneficial, but they are also happy to support the development of other interests.
The practice is well-equipped with iM3 dental digital radiography, Firefly video otoscopy, in-house blood analysers, ultrasound, and digital radiography, and is led by a highly dedicated lead vet who has a keen interest in dentistry and orthopaedics. You will also be fully supported by the rest of this experienced team which includes a Head RVN and Practice Manager. They work closely with a local 24-hour hospital, allowing access to diagnostic equipment including a multi-parameter, CT scanner, endoscope and a laparoscopic kit.
You will be working in Knypersley, a picturesque village nestled in Staffordshire, England. Renowned for its natural beauty, it boasts scenic landscapes including the enchanting Knypersley Reservoir. With a rich history dating back centuries, the village offers a charming blend of quaint cottages, historic landmarks, and a welcoming community spirit. Connected by nearby railway stations and the A527, you can easily access larger urban centres such as Stoke-on-Trent, Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham.

About the Role
We’re seeking a Front-End Developer experienced in Ruby on Rails and React.
You’ll work on building out new features from start to finish, refining existing features, improving performance, and ensuring the security of our customer’s data.
Main Duties
- Translating the product manager’s feature pitches into technical specifications
- Implementing technical specifications as a series of small, descriptive, and well-tested GitHub pull requests
- Pairing with your designer and developer teammates
- Reviewing your teammates’ pull requests to increase the quality of what we build and learn from one another
- Diagnosing errors that come in through our error monitoring tools
- Deploying to production with one click
- Participating in book and code clubs to learn with/from other developers

Qualifications
- Reside in the United States
- Eligible to work in the United States (we are currently unable to offer employment to those with H-1B visas)

- Experience in a JavaScript framework with React is strongly preferred
- Experience in Typescript is strongly preferred
